MS Senate District 18 Holding Special Vote Tuesday April 15

April 15 is Tax Day, but, for the voters of Mississippi District 18, it's also a special election day. District 18 covers the following polling places in Winston County:

• East Winston

• Nanih Waiya

• Noxapater

• Mars Hill

• Shiloh

• Zion Ridge

There are multiple candidates running to fill the seat vacated by Jennifer Branning when she was elected to serve on the Mississippi Supreme Court.

Candidates running for the District 18 Senate Seat:

• Mark Forsman

• Lindsey Kidd

• Jackson "Ike" Melton

• Marty Sistrunk

• Lane Taylor

Citizens across Winston County that live in the aforementioned voting precincts are encouraged to get out and vote tomorrow from 7 AM - 7 PM. You will need a valid ID to vote, and you'll be voting at your usual polling place.

Because this is a special election, it is imperative that voters get out and vote.
