Steve "Rosebowl" Robertson came to the Winston County Library on Thursday will his latest book, The Dude. The book is the story of Dudy Noble, who was an athletic director at MSU. The Bulldog's home baseball stadium is named for Noble, and it has been the home of 24 of 25 of the largest at-home crowds in all of college baseball.

Robertson interviewed members of Noble's family in preparation for writing the book, and he was able to really get a feel for the person behind the athlete. Noble himself was a decorated student-athlete, and he would go on to coach. He was the first coach in Mississippi State baseball history to secure three league titles. He would eventually "become one of the most influential athletic directors of the Southeastern Conference."

The author had books for purchase at the library, but copies (with the option for Robertson's autograph) may be purchased at dudynoblebook.com.

On Friday, Louisville's own Scott Hendrix will present his latest publication, Justine.
