Legion State Park to Host Kidz n Katz Fishing Event May 3

Louisville’s hidden gem, the Legion State Park, announced its plans to host the annual Kidz n Katz fishing rodeo on May 3 at Lake Toppasha, located within the park. 

Open to children ages 15 and under, every year the Park opens its gates for a free fishing event. Families are encouraged to participate and teach the younger generation the fun and excitement that is fishing. 

All participants must be accompanied by an adult, and they must bring their own bait, tackle and fishing pole. This is a free event, so bring your children and enjoy the morning!

The event begins at 8, with registration opening at least 30 minutes prior to the kickoff.
