East Central Community College is off to a great start to the 2025 campaign. With a record of 18-4 they are in a good position as they start conference play March 12 at East Mississippi.

The Warriors just completed a sweep of Baton Rouge Community College, and that was enough to catapult them back to the national number 1 ranked team in JUCO baseball.

East Central is known for its prestigious baseball program. At the JUCO level players and assistant coaches come and go but there has been one constant for the black and gold, Coach Neal Hollman. Hollman has been the head coach since 2007.
2024 could be considered his best year to date finishing 55-9. In the 9 losses they only lost by a total of 12 runs. The Warriors went to their second consecutive world series, but fell short in the semi finals.
Hollman has had many players go on to play D1 baseball. Hollman also coached Tim Anderson back in 2012 and 2013. Anderson went on to be the 17th overall pick in the 2013 MLB draft.
The Warriors are looking to finish what they started last year and win NJCAA in Enid, OK later this year.
